Manifesting Is Easy, But Not
My book club is reading “I’m Rich Beyond My Wildest Dreams, I am, I am, I am” by Tom & Penelope Pauley. This book really makes you think. We are at the point where we are making lists. The universe (God in my case) wants us to be wealthy. We were not put on this earth to just survive and slide by. We can have, be or do whatever we want.
This week’s general consensus was that for most of us, it was hard to think of the things that we want. Most of us live our lives as parents, spouses, brothers, sisters, children, employees, etc… That is not WHO we are. That is what we do. It’s hard to sit down and list things that we want to do, be or have because we’ve spent most of our lives doing what others want. Making others happy.
Now it’s time for ME. Time to figure out what I want. Time to figure out who I am. I can be totally selfish. I have to be. That’s the key. I can only manifest for myself. I can’t manifest for someone else. The universe is like a huge catalog and I can pick anything I want out of it.
I’ve already manifested some of the things on my list.
One was my Curves membership. My daughter and I wanted to join Curves, but I didn’t have an extra $300 to spend for both of our memberships. Sure, I could have scraped it together, but we decided we would both write it on our lists.
EXACTLY ONE WEEK after we wrote it down (me on my list and her on hers) we received a postcard in the mail from the Curves in NY where we used to live. The postcard was good for free memberships. I called the local Curves in KY and asked them if they would honor it. The woman who answered the phone told me she didn’t think so, but would check with the owner. She called me back within 15 minutes to say the owner was more than willing to honor the free memberships with the postcard.
I will be periodically writing about different things on my list that I’ve manifested. The key is that we should not share specifics of what is on our lists because we are all one collective consciousness and your possible negative thoughts toward what may be on my list may counteract my positive thoughts about it. So, I will share with you after the manifestation has come to be. I’ll have lots of them, I’m sure.
