Tracey,

Thank you for your comment.

You are SO right. Which proves my point that you must read your contract with the company. I did not have a JOB, I was supposedly an independent business OWNER. There is a clear difference.

Not to mention the fact that the company says you must address any disagreements with their staff to their supervisor. This is what I did. They simply used that clause to get rid of me after I caught them with their hand in the cookie jar, so to speak.

It turned out to be the best thing that happened to me because who in their right mind would build a business with a company that does the things that Vemma did back then and apparently is still doing according to the comments I've received and addressed above.

Hopefully people will think twice before they decide to build a business with a company when they haven't read their contract with said company.

Have a great day!!

Referring to someone as an idiot IS disparaging them, whether to their face or not.

Rules are rules.

A job is a privilege, not a guarantee.

Hey Gary,

Nice to see you stop by. I can always count on you. ;-)

Strange friends? I have a few. I may be one. Who defines normal anyway?

Hi Ninah,

If you love to help others and can do a number of things that people in business need help with then by all means, check out becoming a virtual assistant. I love it. One reason why I haven't posted here much is because I'm working on a blog for my virtual assistant biz. At present, I work exclusively for one company in addition to my network marketing and make descent money. I can easily add in a few other jobs and it will be well worth it. I've worked for a few different people as a va over the past few years. I love being able to work whenever I want. Late at night or early in the morning, depending on what's going on around home.

Good luck to you!! Let me know if there's anything I can help you with.

Hi Mark,

Thank you for your kind words.

I practice one important thing that I teach (well...I practice many of them but...) I make sure that my blog readers know I'm a real person. If you're just a "guru" people don't feel comfortable enough with you to leave comments. I actually have more people email or call with comments than leave them here. That's why my contact info is in the sidebar. It's much easier to build that know, like and trust one on one.

Have an awesome day!!

Hi Roxanne,

Excellent article. One rule of attraction marketing is to provoke prospects to inquire about promotions. Unlike many so called MLM experts who I have read, you seem to know what you are talking about.
