Anonymous,

Thank you for your insights. The customer service problem is an issue, however, the main issue is that BK had me terminated for stumbling upon a leads scam they had going on. They used the "disparagement" as an excuse to get rid of me. If you want the bad customer service that I experienced almost 4 years ago and the bad customer service that is obviously taking place today to be attributed to management, shouldn't it also be attributed to the owner? Does BK have no control over his staff? This happened almost FOUR YEARS ago. If a company owner allows horrible customer service to continue this long, there is a HUGE problem with that as far as I'm concerned.

Hi Roxanne,

I worked at Newvision/Vemma for over 10 years, and I can tell you the owner of the company, BK Boreyko, he is a
very stand up guy. The problem with that company is BK
is so busy that over the last few years he relied on
a horrible management team who really knew nothing
about the MLM business. The management team was training
new agents, such as Ryan, on policies and procedures,
compensation plan, etc when they didn't understand
it themselves. Their are only a handful of people in
that building that understand the comp plan and how
the business truly operates. The management team
felt they didn't have to learn how the company operates,
which leads to customers like you who get upset because
no one you talked to understands anything. What is a
cycle? Any agent should be able to answer that you are
right, but 9 out of the 10 sups there couldn't tell
you what a cycle is either. You can't expect customer service agents to answer questions that their leaders
can't answer. So even though you had a bad experience you are really blaming the wrong people. BK and the customer service agent are not to blame, you needed to call the supervisor you were talking to
an idiot cause that supervisor didn't properly train
Ryan. Their are many, many members in Newvision/vemma
that are having these same issues with these
customer service agents. However, that is the
responsibility of the management team to train them
and they need to be held accountable. I think you just needed a little knowledge from the inside because it
upsets me that management gets let off the hook in this situation and the little guy (Ryan) takes all the heat. Personally I dont know Ryan, but I know the management
team is quick to blame the little guy there rather than holding themselves accountable for improper training techniques. I can guarantee if you would have been
lucky to talk to me when I was there you would still
be a member of vemma today. However, everything
happens for a reason, but I just want you to know
BK is truly a great guy, and a great business
owner!

Tracey,

Thank you for your comment.

You are SO right. Which proves my point that you must read your contract with the company. I did not have a JOB, I was supposedly an independent business OWNER. There is a clear difference.

Not to mention the fact that the company says you must address any disagreements with their staff to their supervisor. This is what I did. They simply used that clause to get rid of me after I caught them with their hand in the cookie jar, so to speak.

It turned out to be the best thing that happened to me because who in their right mind would build a business with a company that does the things that Vemma did back then and apparently is still doing according to the comments I've received and addressed above.

Hopefully people will think twice before they decide to build a business with a company when they haven't read their contract with said company.

Have a great day!!

Referring to someone as an idiot IS disparaging them, whether to their face or not.

Rules are rules.

A job is a privilege, not a guarantee.
