Who Do You Get Your MLM Training From?
In a recent blog post, Kim Klaver says that she has naysayers. Ms. Stud (as she calls herself) has been a generic MLM / Network trainer for years.
Around a year ago, Kim started her own MLM company. Nothing wrong with that. I would rather learn from someone who is building in today’s market that someone who built years ago. We all know what worked then doesn’t work now.
So what is all the commotion about? Here is the way I see it from those who used to be Klaver followers and confide in me.
Kim made an announcement in her March 13, 2008 blog post that her new little start up was letting go of the multi-level pay plan. One of the reasons given is that they don’t want the stigma of being “one of those things”.
There’s not really a problem with that. Many businesses find that they can’t hack it in the network marketing model and quit.
Here’s where the problem comes in. Kim is still selling her training materials TO NETWORK MARKETERS. She is still claiming that she can teach network marketers how to build their businesses. She is still taking money from people to teach them how to do what she COULDN’T DO. She is claiming she can teach people how to work “one of those things” however, she doesn’t want HER company to BE “one of those things”.
What’s wrong with that picture? How can someone who doesn’t want their company to have the stigma of being “one of those things” take money from people who need help building “one of those things”???
Very interesting.
If you are going to get help from someone on how to do network marketing, make sure that person is out there today and building today. Make sure that they actually BELIEVE in network marketing.
